1. Relationship to the TraxPoint Terms
This Subscription & Billing Policy provides additional information about billing for TraxPoint, a service operated by TraxPoint LLC.
This Policy forms part of the TraxPoint Terms of Service. If this Policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Subscription Plans
TraxPoint offers paid subscription plans with features and limits that vary by plan.
Pricing, included features, location limits, billing frequency, trial terms, and other plan details are presented before purchase.
TraxPoint may introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription plans as the service evolves.
3. Billing and Payment Authorization
A valid payment method is required when starting a TraxPoint subscription, including a subscription beginning with the 14-day free trial.
By starting a TraxPoint subscription, you authorize TraxPoint LLC and its payment processors to charge the payment method associated with your subscription for applicable subscription fees, taxes, additional locations, and other authorized charges when those charges become due.
During the standard 14-day free trial, the TraxPoint subscription fee is $0. Unless the subscription is canceled before the trial ends, the payment method on file will be charged for the monthly or annual subscription selected during signup when the trial concludes.
Subscription payments are processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe. TraxPoint does not store complete payment-card details.
4. Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, a subscription beginning with a free trial automatically converts to the selected paid monthly or annual subscription when the trial ends unless canceled beforehand.
After the first paid period begins, TraxPoint subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each applicable monthly or annual billing period unless canceled before renewal.
Charges are made using the payment method associated with the subscription.
5. Free Trial and Promotional Access
New eligible TraxPoint subscriptions include a 14-day free trial.
A valid payment method is required to begin the trial, but the standard TraxPoint subscription charge is $0 at signup.
Unless the subscription is canceled before the trial expires, the selected monthly or annual subscription will automatically begin billing when the 14-day trial ends.
If the subscription is canceled before the end of the trial, the upcoming subscription charge will not be collected and paid subscription access will not begin.
Promotional offers may contain additional eligibility requirements, expiration dates, pricing terms, or limitations disclosed with the applicable offer.
6. Upgrading a Plan
When a customer upgrades from a lower subscription plan to a higher plan, TraxPoint may make the upgraded features available immediately.
Stripe or another applicable billing provider may calculate and charge a prorated amount reflecting the difference between the existing plan and the new plan for the remainder of the applicable billing period.
7. Downgrading a Plan
Unless otherwise stated during the plan-change process, plan downgrades become effective at the end of the current applicable billing period.
This allows the customer to continue using the features already available under the current plan through the end of that period.
Customers are responsible for reviewing feature, usage, and location limits before downgrading.
8. Additional Locations
Additional-location subscriptions require an active eligible TraxPoint base subscription.
One location is included with the applicable TraxPoint base subscription unless otherwise stated.
Additional locations are currently priced at $65 per month or $650 per year per additional location.
The billing interval for an additional location must match the billing interval of the applicable base plan.
Additional-location eligibility, quantity limits, and pricing may change as TraxPoint evolves.
9. Cancellation
Customers may cancel a TraxPoint subscription at any time through the secure subscription-management tools provided through TraxHQ or by contacting TraxPoint support where applicable.
If a subscription is canceled during the 14-day free trial before the first paid charge occurs, the upcoming subscription charge will not be collected.
Once a paid billing period has begun, cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
Customers generally retain access to their paid plan through the end of that period and will not be charged for the next renewal after cancellation has been successfully processed.
10. Refund Policy
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a paid billing period begins, except as described below or where required by applicable law.
A new customer may request a refund within 7 calendar days of the initial paid subscription charge .
For a subscription beginning with the 14-day free trial, this refund period begins when the first paid subscription charge is successfully collected after the trial.
This new-subscription refund window applies to the customer's initial paid TraxPoint subscription and does not automatically apply to recurring renewal charges.
TraxPoint may also provide refunds for duplicate charges, confirmed billing errors, or other circumstances where a refund is legally required.
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. TraxPoint may review exceptional accidental-renewal requests on a case-by-case basis when the customer contacts support promptly after the renewal.
11. Failed Payments and Grace Period
If a subscription payment fails, including a first scheduled subscription charge following a free trial, TraxPoint may attempt to notify the account owner and the payment processor may retry the payment.
TraxPoint generally provides a 5-calendar-day payment grace period following a failed subscription payment.
Payment Fails
Customer notification may be sent and payment recovery attempts may begin. Normal access generally remains available during the grace period.
Reminder
Additional notice may be sent asking the customer to update or correct the payment method.
Restricted Mode
If payment remains unresolved, paid features may be restricted until the outstanding payment is successfully completed.
12. Account Restriction and Recovery
After the payment grace period expires, TraxPoint may place the applicable account into a restricted payment status.
TraxPoint does not automatically downgrade a customer from one paid plan to another because of a failed payment.
When the outstanding payment is successfully resolved, the customer's existing paid subscription features may be restored.
Temporary payment failure does not by itself cause immediate deletion of customer data.
13. Extended Nonpayment
If an outstanding balance remains unresolved for an extended period, including approximately 30 days, TraxPoint may cancel or terminate the unpaid subscription.
Customer information following cancellation or termination remains subject to the applicable TraxPoint Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and data-retention practices.
14. Taxes
Subscription prices may not include applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes.
Where required, applicable taxes may be calculated and added to the amount charged.
Customers are responsible for taxes and similar governmental charges associated with their purchase except taxes imposed on TraxPoint LLC's net income.
15. Promotions and Price Changes
TraxPoint may offer promotional pricing, coupons, discounts, introductory rates, extended trials, or other special offers.
Promotional pricing or trial terms may expire according to the terms presented with the applicable offer.
TraxPoint may change subscription pricing in the future. Material pricing changes affecting an existing subscription will generally apply to a future renewal period and notice will be provided where appropriate or required.
16. Receipts, Invoices, and Billing Records
Customers may receive trial notices, payment receipts, invoices, renewal notices, failed-payment notices, cancellation notices, and other billing communications electronically.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate billing contact information and payment details.
17. Billing Questions and Disputes
Customers who believe a charge is incorrect should contact TraxPoint promptly so the charge can be reviewed.
Contacting support before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback gives TraxPoint an opportunity to investigate and correct legitimate billing errors.
Nothing in this section limits rights available to a customer under applicable law or applicable payment-network rules.
Manage Your Subscription
Review your TraxPoint subscription, billing status, payment method, invoices, and available subscription-management options through the secure TraxHQ billing dashboard.
